Notice of Public Hearing

The Town of Bolton will hold a hybrid Public Hearing at the Town Offices, 3045 Theodore Roosevelt Highway (US Route 2), Bolton, VT 05676 and via Zoom on June 3rd, 2024, at 6:00 PM.  The purpose of the public hearing is to furnish information and obtain the views of citizens concerning the range of economic development and public facilities development activities that have been undertaken under the Vermont Community Development Program, Grant ID: 07110-IG-2018-Bolton-16

Should you require reasonable special accommodation to participate in this public hearing, please contact the Town Administrator at 802-434-5075 at least 5 business days prior to the hearing.

Town Of Bolton Grand List Notice To Taxpayers

Per Title 32, Section 4111 of the Vermont Statutes Annotated, this notice goes to all Bolton residents.  As of April 1, 2024, the Town Assessor has completed the evaluations for the Grand List.  These updated values will be used for the tax rates for 2024. On May 29, 2024, grievances will be held by appointment only at the Town Office.  Please call ahead to schedule an appointment.  


The Town of Bolton has open positions they are recruiting for.  The Town is looking to hire a new both a new Road Commissioner and a new Equipment Operator Maintenance Technician at the Highway Department.  The Town is also looking for a new Zoning Administrator and a new Assistant Town Clerk. 
The Highway Department is offering full time positions with benefits. The Assistant Town Clerk and Zoning Administrator positions have flexible schedules.  If you are interested in joining the team in the Bolton Town Office, please check out the detailed job descriptions at
