- How to Get Married in Vermont
- Application for Vermont License of Civil Marriage – Bring the complete application to the town office in the town of residence. The Bolton Town Office is open Monday through Thursday, 8-4 p.m. Please allow 10-15 minutes to get your license. There is a $60 fee for a marriage license plus $10 for a certified copy.

- Vermont Homestead Tax Declaration – In order to receive a state Property Tax Adjustment, you must file a Vermont Homestead Declaration (usually filed when you are completing your income tax). The town does NOT process or have access to either the Homestead Declaration or the Property Tax Adjustment. If you have questions or problems with either, please contact the Vermont Department of Taxes.
